Anaethesia Workstation
It is a high-end Anesthesia workstation that provides for the standard features like Oxygen Ratio Controller (ORC), Oxygen Failure Protection Device (OFPD), Nitro-lock, Hypoxic Guard and so on. It has an integrated ventilator, electrically driven that requires no gas source for its driving. The ventilator works on Volume control mode and provides for pressure bar graph, display of Frequency, Insp. Time, Tidal volume and I/E ratio.
Features
The structure is fully made in aluminum making it completely rust free. It provides for a broad shelf for easy operation and spacious drawers for storing.
The Backbar is designed to accommodate two vaporizers with interlock facilities. The option to fit only one vaporizer lies with operator. The interlock does not allow operation of two vaporizers simultaneously.
The assembly consists of five flow meter Tubes, two for oxygen, two for Nitrous oxide and one for Air. The Control knobs are colour coded and have different textures for easy identifications.
It is a single jar absorber attached at the side. It is equipped with automatic water release valve to check against accumulation of water obstructing flow of gases.
It is a pneumatic device to regulate the flow of N2O corresponding to the flow of oxygen for maintaining the desired ratio between the gases. The device acts at where the gases are blended through the flowmeters.
It acts as Nitro-lock facility and shuts flow of N2O if flow of oxygen falls below 1 lpm. Additionally, it ensures FGF with at least 20% oxygen and checks against hypoxic fresh gas flow (FGF).
It is electrically driven that requires no driving gas. It is very simple to operate and provides volume control modes of ventilation. It is operative with closed circle system and open circuits like Magill’s or Bains circuits. It has bright LED display
